Quantum Interface (QI) is a pioneering Human Machine Interface technology company based in Austin, Texas, starting with the fertile vision of Jonathan Josephson in 1998. Since that time, he has relentlessly pursued his vision and made it a reality.

 

Since 2012, QI has led the development of next-generation HMI solutions by leveraging technology with human factors research & development to revolutionize digital interactions. Jonathan is the visionary inventor of our patented technologies and solutions. For over 25 years, Jonathan has specialized in enhancing experiences across almost every cutting-edge platform: virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), Internet of Things (IoT), drones, immersive media installations, transportation and more.

Dan BryantDirector of Software Engineering

Dan leads Architecture, Product Development and Project Management. Dan was also part of creating the Quantum Engine. As founder of Datahoist, Inc. he created new enterprise monitoring products for institutional use using Machine Learning in embedded devices to gain insights for Predictive Maintenance, and designed hardware and Cloud systems for IOT systems to deliver and process data for predictive analytics.

 

Tom CampMarketing, Strategy

Tom leads software product marketing and is focused on helping develop competitive Software as a Service product strategies and establishing business partnerships and alliances with strategic partners, customers, and suppliers to expand product and service sales.

 

David WittHead of UX Design

David has a long track record of design innovation across Automotive, Consumer Electronics and Enterprise applications, with a focus on multimodal interactions, emerging technologies and user-centered design.

Ross GuiebDoD Advisor

A retired U.S. Army Colonel with 29 years of service, Ross played a key role in establishing the Army Futures Command. He is the Executive Director of the George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex at Texas A&M, overseeing advanced facilities and partnerships that accelerate DoD technology development. Ross holds multiple advanced degrees and brings deep expertise in innovation leadership, national security, and organizational transformation.

Richard Lamb PhDAdvisor

Dr. Richard Lamb is a cognitive science researcher and professor at East Carolina University, where he directs the Neurocognition Science Laboratory. His interdisciplinary research bridges neuroscience, psychology, and computer science, focusing on identifying cognitive markers of learning and enhancing neural processing through novel technologies in education.

HARVEY FRYE

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Frye serves as Chairman of Quantum Interface, an Austin, Texas based proprietary IP predictive and dynamic user interface software company. He retired in 2015 as the Vice Chairman of Tokyo Electron America. Prior roles during his 17 years at Tokyo Electron America included President and Senior VP. He has been associated with the semiconductor industry supply chain for over 40 years. Before joining Tokyo Electron he held VP positions with KLA Corp, Eaton Corp, and PMT as Senior VP assisting with their IPO and their later merger as a Senior VP in both organizations. Prior to entering the semiconductor industry in 1977 Mr. Frye had business experience in marketing and manufacturing management. Mr. Frye earned a B.S. degree from the University of New Hampshire.

Scott is EVP of Defense & Government Solutions and a Certified Chief Information Security Officer with 20+ years in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance. He has led major initiatives for the DoD and worked with agencies like the NSA and CIA. With multiple certifications and degrees from LSU and Northwestern, Scott combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise.
